Ethiopia - Benti Nenka

Our new coffee Benti Nenka is a floral coffee with a nice fruity attack in which we find notes of citrus fruits and flowers.

We have chosen and roasted it for slow coffee methods. However, if you are equipped with a quality grinder, feel free to taste it into a very aromatic espresso.

Located in the Benti Nenka village, the washing station of Guduba processes the coffee of producers around. Every parcel, from 1 to 2 hectares, is situated between 1900 and 2000 meters above see level.

Producers from Benti Nenka practice traditional farming methods such as growing other crops along the coffee to maximize land use. These farms also practice organic farming and use very little fertilizer or pesticides. Most of the farming tasks, including harvesting, are handmade due to the small size of the farms.
